Five Chinese billionaires led the world in wealth gain on Monday, posting a combined $3.7 billion in net worth increase.
The biggest wealth gainer was robot tycoon Wang Xinxing, 36, who enjoyed a $1.3-billion fortune boost, according to real-time data by Forbes. His net worth jumped 16% to $9.1 billion, placing him 402nd globally.
Xinxing is the chairman and CEO of humanoid robot manufacturer Yushu Technology, better known as Unitree. Its shares jumped 16% Monday, having risen 19% in the last five days.
The mogul, who also serves as the company’s chief technology officer, founded Unitree in 2016 after a brief stint at Chinese drone giant DJI.
Unitree raised $905 million in a highly anticipated initial public offering in August 2026, becoming China’s first humanoid robot maker to go public.
Among its more futuristic products is the GD01, a transformable mecha standing more than 3 meters tall that can accommodate a human pilot in its cockpit. Its starting price is $650,000.
Chen Jianhua, 55, chairman of Hengli Group, one of China's largest petrochemical businesses, posted the second-largest wealth gain in the world, up $821 million. His net worth went up 3.5% to $26.1 billion.
Hengli also has interests in tourism and property development. It operates one of the world's largest shipbuilding businesses. In 2025, it merged the unit with Shanghai-listed Guangdong Songfa Ceramics.
Wang Liping, 60, chairman of Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic, ranked third in wealth gain with a $623-million increase.
His net worth added over 5% to $12.1 billion, placing him 261st globally.
Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic makes oil cylinders, hydraulic valves and hydraulic castings. Founded by Wang in 1990, the company now has seven research centers and 12 manufacturing sites in China, Germany, the U.S., Japan and Mexico.
He Xiangjian, 84, co-founder of appliance maker Midea, saw his net worth rose $586 million to $37.8 billion, ranking fourth in gain.
Rounding up the list was Chen Tianshi, whose fortune went up $362 million to $24.9 billion. He is the chairman and CEO of chipmaker Cambricon Technologies, sometimes dubbed China's Nvidia.
